RECAP

Los Bandidos secured a narrow 3-2 victory over the Harfangs in a contest defined by a massive discrepancy in puck control. Despite the Harfangs employing a punishing physical strategy—evidenced by 18 hits from xbrindy and 16 from Duchesne_x_10—Los Bandidos refused to be intimidated, maintaining a relentless pace that eventually wore down the home side's structure. The game remained a one-goal affair throughout, but the Harfangs spent too much energy chasing the play, a fatigue that showed as Los Bandidos capitalized on high-volume shooting to squeak out the win. The offensive load for Los Bandidos was carried by Jellyl35l, who peppered the net with 13 shots and converted twice to provide the necessary scoring punch. On the back end, Roboubi was the elite distributor, picking up 3 assists and acting as the primary transition hub. For the Harfangs, Jeeves2009 turned in a solid performance with a goal and an assist, while Hobo 0n Welfare kept his team in striking distance with 23 saves on 26 shots. However, the sheer volume of rubber coming from the Bandidos' sticks eventually proved too much for the Harfangs' goaltender to handle. The deciding factor in this matchup was the Time on Attack (TOA) and possession efficiency. Los Bandidos nearly doubled the Harfangs' zone time, maintaining the puck for 985 seconds compared to just 552 for the home team. This dominance in the offensive third allowed Los Bandidos to dictate the rhythm of the game and suppress the Harfangs' counter-attack. While neither team could find success on the power play, the Bandidos' ability to sustain pressure and outshoot their opponents 26-21 ensured they controlled the narrative from start to finish.
