RECAP

Feet For Hands dictated the pace from the puck drop to the final whistle, securing a 4-2 victory over the Flamingos in a game where the scoreline actually looked closer than the play suggested. While the Flamingos managed to keep the game within reach for a while, Feet For Hands essentially set up camp in the offensive zone, racking up a staggering 751 seconds of time on attack compared to just 297 for the Flamingos. This sustained pressure eventually wore down the defense, with oSplxshin netting the game-winner to punctuate a dominant performance where the Flamingos were often left chasing the play. The offensive trio for Feet For Hands was clinical, led by a massive 4-point night from oSplxshin, who recorded 2 goals and 2 assists. He was flanked by Gucci Goals, who was equally dangerous with 1 goal and 2 assists of his own, while Rxzmus played the role of the ultimate facilitator, chipping in a goal and an assist while winning 17 of 29 faceoffs to maintain puck control. On the other side, BIGTJ1299 was the lone bright spot for the Flamingos, scoring both of his team's goals on 5 shots and adding 5 hits in a gritty effort to keep his squad competitive. The deciding factor in this contest was pure possession and zone control. Feet For Hands didn't just outshoot the Flamingos 14-10; they completely neutralized their transition game by winning 58.6% of the draws and maintaining a high-frequency cycle. Rxzmus and xbrindy were instrumental in keeping the puck deep, forcing the Flamingos into a defensive shell for the majority of the 60 minutes. Between the significant gap in time on attack and the surgical passing of oSplxshin (79.3% completion rate on 29 attempts), Feet For Hands simply had too much of the puck for the Flamingos to mount a serious comeback.
