RECAP

Good try put on a clinic in puck protection, securing a 3-1 victory over the Lot Lizards in a game defined by sustained pressure. While the final shot count was relatively close at 19-16, the narrative was written in the offensive zone. Good try dominated the flow of play, logging 697 seconds of time on attack compared to just 394 for the Lizards. This possession advantage allowed Good try to dictate the tempo and eventually wear down the Lizards' defensive structure. Perellzy was the primary engine for the Good try offense, factoring into every single goal with a 3-point performance (1 goal, 2 assists). However, it was Cube who provided the clinical finishing, netting 2 goals including a heavy power-play marker that stood as the game-winner. On the defensive side, gunnr miggs was a steadying force in net, stopping 15 of 16 shots for a .938 save percentage. Hergy9 managed to score the lone goal for the Lot Lizards, but the team struggled to find a secondary scoring punch under the constant pressure. The deciding factors in this matchup were discipline and puck control. Good try played a flawless game regarding penalties, recording 0 minutes in the box and completely denying the Lizards any chance to shift momentum through their power play. By contrast, Good try capitalized on their own man-advantage, going 1 for 2. Combined with a faceoff edge led by Licks-_-97 (10 wins at 56%), Good try simply starved the Lizards of the puck, making a comeback nearly impossible in the final frame.
