The Mighty Deks take the series 2-1 over the Half Shell Cartel after a dramatic three-game set that shifted from a defensive grind to an offensive masterclass. The series opened with the Cartel securing a tight 2-1 victory behind a game-winner from defenseman CN65, but the momentum swung in Game 2 as the Deks clawed back for a 4-3 win to stave off the sweep. The finale saw the Deks find another gear, exploding for a 7-2 victory to clinch the series comeback and leave the Cartel searching for answers.
Chandler4911 was the undisputed catalyst for the Deks, racking up 10 points (5 goals, 5 assists) over the 3 games, including a massive 6-point performance in the clincher. He was flanked by Two Accurate, who led the series with 5 goals and dominated the faceoff circle with 26 wins. For the Cartel, Duchesne_x_10 was a physical force throughout, totaling 32 hits across the series and consistently disrupting entries, while Sejje served as the primary playmaker with 5 points and a heavy volume of 16 shots on net.
Clinical finishing ultimately decided the outcome. While the Half Shell Cartel actually won the aggregate shot battle 57-40 and held a slight edge in total time on attack, the Mighty Deks were lethal on the counter-attack, especially in the deciding Game 3 where they converted on 46% of their shots. Goaltender xFB17 provided the necessary stability for the Deks, making 54 total saves and posting a higher save percentage than his counterpart, allowing the Deks' high-octane offense to eventually overwhelm the Cartel's defensive structure.
