SERIES RECAP

The Flamingos secured a hard-fought 2-1 series victory over the Baboons in a matchup defined by razor-thin margins and dramatic momentum swings. The Baboons drew first blood with a disciplined 3-2 win in Game 1, utilizing a heavy shot advantage to keep the Flamingos on their heels. However, the tide turned in Game 2 when the Flamingos survived a relentless Baboons cycle to grind out a 4-3 win, forcing a deciding Game 3. That final clash pushed both teams to the limit, ending in a 4-4 tie through regulation before the Flamingos eventually pulled away to clinch the series. l Volcom x 28 l was the undisputed offensive catalyst for the Flamingos, exploding for 11 points (6 goals, 5 assists) over the 3 games, including a clutch hat trick that saved their season in Game 2. He was flanked by the punishing physical presence of Swizz wrld, who balanced a 9-point series with a massive 36 hits to disrupt the Baboons' breakout. On the other side, Buckley0306 was the engine for the Baboons, facilitating the offense with 7 points. Animal x86 and Bills 39 provided consistent goal-scoring depth, each netting 4 goals across the series, but they struggled to find the ultimate equalizer against a locked-in Flamingos backline. Efficiency and goaltending ultimately decided the outcome. While the Baboons often dominated possession—racking up significantly more time on attack and outshooting the Flamingos 22-13 in Game 2—they couldn't solve SargeNPrawns consistently enough. SargeNPrawns stood tall under fire, recording 49 total saves and posting a massive performance in the finale to weather 20 shots. Additionally, Chandler4911’s dominance in the faceoff circle (winning 45 total draws) allowed the Flamingos to neutralize the Baboons' possession-heavy style. Despite the Baboons' high-volume shooting, the Flamingos' clinical finishing and ability to capitalize on rare transition opportunities proved to be the difference.
