SERIES RECAP

The Brand takes the series 2-1 over Chaos in a matchup defined by clinical efficiency over volume shooting. The series opened with a statistical anomaly in Game 1, where The Brand pulled out a 5-4 win despite being outshot 26-9 and trailing significantly in time on attack. They carried that momentum into Game 2, grinding out a 3-2 overtime victory to put Chaos on the brink of a sweep. While Chaos finally found their finishing touch in Game 3 with a dominant 5-2 win to stay alive, the damage from the first two games secured the series victory for The Brand. Rapierrrr was the engine for The Brand’s offense, racking up 9 points across the 3 games, including a massive 5-point performance in the series opener. He was flanked by Gucci Goals, who provided 4 goals, including the deciding markers in the first two contests. RedSkinStallion proved to be the more consistent presence in the crease when it mattered most, making 45 saves across the series and weathering a relentless 26-shot barrage in Game 1. For Chaos, the duo of yRykerr and daintydanglz did the heavy lifting, combining for 15 points, while RAWB3234 dominated the circles with 53 faceoff wins to keep his team in constant control of the puck. The defining factor of this series was The Brand's ability to capitalize on high-danger chances while Chaos struggled with inconsistent goaltending early on. Chaos held a massive shot advantage of 54-38 across the series and controlled the zone for 1,769 seconds compared to 1,392 for The Brand, but they were doomed by a disastrous .444 save percentage in the series opener. Even with Chaos finding their rhythm in Game 3 behind a hat trick from yRykerr, The Brand’s surgical finishing and RedSkinStallion's ability to steal Game 1 proved that possession stats don't always dictate the final scoreline.
