SERIES RECAP

Harfangs wasted no time asserting their dominance in this series, completing a clean 3-0 sweep over Evil Nature. The series arc was defined by Harfangs’ ability to maintain suffocating pressure from the opening puck drop of Game 1, a 4-1 victory that immediately put Evil Nature on their heels. While Game 2 was slightly more competitive at 4-2, Harfangs never truly looked out of control, eventually ending the series with a definitive 6-1 blowout in Game 3. The offensive production from Harfangs was staggering, led by xbrindy, who put up a massive 10 points (5 goals, 5 assists) while recording 51 hits across the 3 games. He was joined by Duchesne_x_10, who sniped 5 goals of his own and added 37 hits, providing a physical edge that Evil Nature couldn't match. In net, Philliesgreat08 was a rock for Harfangs, stopping 40 of 44 shots for a .909 save percentage. On the other side, Hoss8296 was the lone bright spot for Evil Nature's offense, scoring all 4 of the team's goals in the series, but he lacked the secondary scoring support needed to keep pace. The series was ultimately decided by Harfangs’ overwhelming possession and territorial advantage. Harfangs averaged over 8 minutes of time on attack per game, totaling 1,586 seconds compared to Evil Nature's 1,106. This dominance in puck control allowed Harfangs to be incredibly efficient, converting on 25% of their 56 total shots. Evil Nature struggled to generate high-quality looks, often forced into turnovers by a Harfangs defense that recorded 17 takeaways from Dispiggy8donuts alone. The combination of xbrindy’s physical play and Philliesgreat08’s steady goaltending ensured that Evil Nature never had the breathing room to mount a comeback.
