SERIES RECAP

The Flamingos complete a 3-0 series sweep over the Harfangs in a matchup that was significantly more competitive than the final bracket suggests. The Flamingos established control early with a disciplined 4-2 win in Game 1 and followed it up with a defensive masterclass in Game 2, where SmokeGrenadiers6 anchored a 3-0 shutout. The Harfangs finally found their offensive rhythm in a chaotic Game 3, trading blows in a high-scoring 7-6 thriller, but the Flamingos proved too clinical in overtime to secure the sweep. Chandler4911 was the undisputed MVP of the series, fueling the Flamingos' offense with a massive 14 points (6 goals, 8 assists) across the 3 games, including a 7-point explosion in the finale. He was supported by Swizz wrld, who balanced 8 points with a series-leading 40 hits, and thatbaillieguy, who dominated the middle of the ice. On the Harfangs side, Jeeves2009 and xbrindy did everything possible to keep the series alive, combining for 16 points, while xbrindy matched the physical intensity with 40 hits of his own. The series was ultimately decided by the massive discrepancy in goaltending and special teams efficiency. While both teams finished with exactly 44 shots on net over the series, the Flamingos converted their chances at a much higher rate. SmokeGrenadiers6 provided stability in net with a .822 save percentage and 1 shutout, whereas Philliesgreat08 struggled to find his footing, ending with a .674 save percentage. The Flamingos' ability to capitalize on the power play (4-for-9) and thatbaillieguy’s 63% win rate in the faceoff circle (48-28) ensured they dictated the pace whenever the games hung in the balance.
