SERIES RECAP

Supremacy took the series with a commanding 3-0 sweep over Not My Game, showcasing a level of offensive efficiency that proved impossible to match. The series opened with a competitive 4-2 battle where Supremacy relied on a heavy physical game to disrupt plays, but the momentum shifted permanently in Game 2. Despite Not My Game actually outshooting Supremacy 18-16 in that second frame, they were dismantled in a 6-0 shutout that broke the series open. By Game 3, Supremacy was in full control, stifling any comeback attempts with a clinical 5-1 clincher. The offensive production from Supremacy was staggering, led by mistertwox2, who racked up 11 points (7 goals, 4 assists) across the 3 games, including a massive 5-goal performance in Game 2. He was flanked by yRykerr, who was a force in the clinch with a 5-point night in Game 3, finishing the series with 9 points total. On the back end, Washedbob was incredibly reliable in net, posting a .928 save percentage and allowing only 3 goals over the entire series. Not My Game saw flashes of production from DaddyJoeFerg, who netted 2 goals in the opener, and MoNsTeR I30I, but they simply couldn't find the net consistently enough against Supremacy’s structured defense. The series was ultimately decided by finishing ability and zone control. While the shot totals were relatively even in the first 2 games, Supremacy’s ability to convert on high-danger chances was the difference; they buried 15 goals on just 60 shots. The defensive gap widened significantly in the finale, where Supremacy dominated the puck with 708 seconds of time on attack compared to just 263 for Not My Game. Between xMakar l8l’s 5 assists from the blue line and FowIerrr’s 27 hits across the series, Supremacy controlled the middle of the ice and forced Not My Game into 51 total turnovers, effectively neutralizing their transition game.
