SERIES RECAP

Chaos takes the series 2-1 over the Flamingos in a matchup that was a tale of two very different halves. The Flamingos opened the series with a statement 6-1 victory, using clinical counter-attacking to punish Chaos despite having less time on attack. However, Chaos completely flipped the script in the final two games. After grinding out a 4-2 win in Game 2 to avoid elimination, Chaos found another gear in the finale, dominating Game 3 with a 5-1 performance to complete the comeback and take the series. The offensive production for Chaos was led by the duo of Jeeves2009 and Daintydanglz, who both finished with 8 points across the three games. While Jeeves2009 acted as the primary playmaker with 6 assists, it was l Volcom x 28 l who provided the finishing touch, netting 6 goals in the series including a massive 4-goal explosion in the Game 3 clincher. The Flamingos were paced by hockeymike2344, who recorded 8 points of his own, though 5 of those came during the Game 1 blowout. In the crease, WeThePeople1829 recovered from a tough opening game to post a .923 save percentage in the deciding Game 3, providing the stability Chaos needed to pull ahead. The series was ultimately decided by Chaos's ability to transition from "possession without purpose" to high-volume shot generation. After being held to just 8 shots in Game 1, Chaos adjusted their entry patterns and started peppering the net, finishing the series with a 63-38 advantage in total shots. This pressure reached its peak in Game 3, where Chaos outshot the Flamingos 29-13 and controlled the faceoff circle with Jeeves2009 winning 20 of 33 draws. By winning the possession battle (1457 to 1404 total TOA) and finally converting that time into high-danger opportunities, Chaos wore down the Flamingos' defensive structure to seal the victory.
