RECAP

The Muffin Men put on a clinic in offensive efficiency, skating away with a commanding 7-2 victory over High Glass. While the shot count remained relatively balanced at 20-17, the narrative of the game was defined by the Muffin Men’s ability to maximize their high-danger looks and sustain relentless pressure in the zone. High Glass attempted to disrupt the flow with a heavy physical game, led by l_Willis_97_l and Hoots l16l, but their 25 total hits weren't enough to stop a clinical visiting attack that seemed to find the back of the net every time they established possession. The Muffin Men’s top line was unstoppable, fueled by a hat trick from Dispiggy8donuts, who finished with a game-high 5 points. He was perfectly complemented by tugeye92, who notched a hat trick of his own, and x Neal x 19 x, who orchestrated the offense with 3 assists and a goal. On the blue line, SupremeBannock played a pivotal role in the transition game, racking up 3 assists to keep the pressure on. High Glass saw a bright spot in l_Willis_97_l, who accounted for both of his team's goals on 8 shots and added 9 hits, but his individual effort couldn't match the collective firepower of the Muffin Men. The deciding factor in this contest was pure conversion rate and puck control. Despite the lack of power play opportunities for either side, the Muffin Men dominated the Time on Attack (9:28 to 7:08), forcing Il Eroc lI to face high-quality chances that resulted in a tough .667 save percentage. Sweetdwilly21 remained steady at the other end, stopping 15 of 17 shots to stifle any hopes of a High Glass comeback. Ultimately, the Muffin Men's ability to turn 20 shots into 7 goals showcased a level of finishing that High Glass simply couldn't replicate.
