SERIES RECAP

The Muffin Men take the series 2-1 over High Glass in a back-and-forth battle defined by explosive offensive outbursts. The series opened with the Muffin Men delivering a 7-2 clinical victory, only for High Glass to roar back with a dominant 9-3 win in Game 2 to force a deciding match. In the final showdown, the Muffin Men regained their composure, surmounting a heavy physical disadvantage to secure a 5-3 win and the series victory. The series featured a heavy-weight scoring duel between **tugeye92** and **l_Willis_97_l**. Tugeye92 was a persistent force for the Muffin Men, totaling 7 goals and 11 points across the 3 games, including a massive hat trick in the clincher. On the other side, **l_Willis_97_l** was nearly unstoppable for High Glass, logging 13 points (9 goals, 4 assists) and essentially carrying the offense in their Game 2 victory. Defensively, **Hoots l16l** was a human wrecking ball for High Glass, racking up 27 hits over the series to lead all players, while **x Neal x 19 x** controlled the middle for the Muffin Men with 9 points and 42 faceoff wins. Shot volume and discipline ultimately tilted the scales in favor of the Muffin Men. Over the course of the series, the Muffin Men outshot High Glass 66-40, consistently putting more pressure on **Il Eroc lI** than High Glass could return on **Sweetdwilly21**. While High Glass used their size to record nearly double the hits of their opponents, the Muffin Men stayed disciplined, only taking 2 total penalty minutes in the final game compared to 8 for High Glass. That gap in special teams' opportunities and a 24-12 shot advantage in Game 3 allowed the Muffin Men to survive the physical onslaught and close out the series.
