RECAP

Supremacy walked away with a gritty 4-3 victory over the Metal Can Muppets, needing overtime to finally put away a resilient opponent. While Supremacy dominated the shot clock 28-14 and held a slight edge in time on attack, the Muppets refused to go away quietly, countering Supremacy’s pressure with opportunistic scoring. The game was a back-and-forth grind until the extra frame, where yRykerr finally ended the stalemate by burying the game-winner to cap off a high-intensity battle. The offensive story for Supremacy was written by Jalbert L93L and yRykerr, who combined for 7 points. Jalbert L93L was the engine of the offense, factoring into every single goal with 1 goal and 3 assists while maintaining a strong 61.9% faceoff win rate. yRykerr served as the primary finisher, netting 2 goals—including the decisive overtime winner—and adding an assist. On the Muppets' side, SpitCan6064 was the only reason the game stayed close, making 24 saves on 28 shots to hold off a relentless Supremacy attack that seemed determined to end it much earlier. The game was ultimately decided by Supremacy’s ability to control the pace through shot volume and special teams. Supremacy’s power play proved to be a critical factor, as they capitalized on their only opportunity of the night with a PPG from yRykerr, while the Muppets were unable to generate any production on the man advantage. By doubling the Muppets' shot output and winning the puck possession battle in the neutral zone, Supremacy eventually wore down the Muppets' defense, ensuring they had the legs to find the final opening in overtime.
