RECAP

Feet For Hands walked away with a 7-3 victory in a game that felt like a clinic in offensive efficiency. While the shot clock remained relatively tight at 18-15, the narrative was written in the offensive zone where Feet For Hands displayed superior puck movement and clinical finishing. The game shifted early as Feet For Hands established a sustained cycle, leaving Metal Can Muppets struggling to clear their zone. xbrindy’s 4-point night from the point, including the game-winning goal, epitomized a balanced attack that MCM simply couldn't track. The scoring was spearheaded by a pair of dominant individual efforts. Gucci Goals was the primary offensive catalyst, racking up 5 points with a hat trick and 2 assists. Not to be outdone, Rxzmus controlled the middle of the ice, netting a hat trick of his own while winning 22 of 33 draws to keep possession firmly in Feet For Hands' favor. On the other side, Zuuuuuub found the back of the net 2 times on 8 shots for the Metal Can Muppets, but it wasn't enough to counteract the defensive lapses that saw the away side’s skaters finish with a combined -25 rating. Possession and discipline were the deciding factors in this contest. Feet For Hands dominated the circle, doubling MCM in faceoff wins (22 to 11), which translated directly into a significant advantage in time on attack (10:53 to 8:07). Metal Can Muppets struggled heavily with puck security, notably Prodigyx8 who was tagged with 13 turnovers, making it nearly impossible for them to build any sustained rhythm. Between the faceoff circle dominance and Feet For Hands’ ability to turn 18 shots into 7 goals, MCM’s Magilla72 was left under constant pressure, finishing with a .632 save percentage in a difficult outing.
