Feet For Hands (FFH) secured a dominant 3-0 series sweep over the Metal Can Muppets, though the scorelines suggest the Muppets didn't go down without a fight. The series opened with a tight 4-3 battle in Game 1, where FFH utilized a massive possession advantage to squeeze out a win. Momentum shifted heavily in Game 2 as FFH opened the floodgates for a 7-3 victory, and they officially closed the door in Game 3 with a 6-4 win. While the Muppets stayed within striking distance in two of the three games, they were never able to solve the sustained offensive zone pressure that defined the series.
The offensive production for Feet For Hands was staggering, led by oSplxshin who put up a massive 14 points (3 goals, 11 assists) across the three games. He acted as the primary engine for the offense, repeatedly setting up Rxzmus, who finished with a series-high 6 goals. The blue line was just as lethal, with xbrindy contributing 10 points and providing a heavy physical presence with 9 hits. On the Muppets' side, Zuuuuuub and BIGTJ1299 did the heavy lifting, combining for 14 points. BIGTJ1299 was particularly notable in the finale, netting a hat trick in a desperate attempt to extend the series.
The deciding factor in this sweep was the overwhelming disparity in puck possession and zone control. Feet For Hands essentially lived in the Muppets' defensive end, recording 1,714 seconds of time on attack compared to 1,616 for the Muppets, and outshooting them 55 to 39 over the series. Rxzmus provided a consistent head start for FFH by dominating the dot, winning 52 faceoffs to BIGTJ1299's 31. This constant puck hunger allowed FFH to wear down the Muppets' defense, eventually rendering the Muppets' high shooting percentage irrelevant in the face of such relentless volume.
