RECAP

The Mighty Deks escaped with a narrow 2-1 victory over Feet For Hands in a defensive stalemate that required overtime to find a winner. With both teams combining for just 21 shots on net throughout the contest, every possession felt like a chess match where neither side was willing to blink. The game was characterized by a lack of space in the neutral zone, forcing both squads into a grind-it-out style that remained deadlocked until See dub 21 finally ended the marathon in the extra frame. The Mighty Deks’ offensive production was a concentrated effort from their top players. See dub 21 led the way with 1 goal and 1 assist, including the game-winner, while Chandler4911 mirrored that production with a goal and an assist of his own. TwO AcCuRaTE served as the primary playmaker, finishing with 2 assists to help facilitate both Deks tallies. On the defensive side, Rapidcalf217667 was a disruptive force with 7 takeaways and a crisp 88.5% pass completion rate. For Feet For Hands, Gucci Goals provided the only offense with 1 goal, while xbrindy tried to set the tone physically, recording 7 hits and 1 assist in the loss. Possession was remarkably even, with the time on attack separated by only 2 seconds (591 to 589). The game was ultimately decided by defensive discipline and goaltending. oSplxshin was a standout for Feet For Hands, recording a game-high 9 takeaways to keep the Deks at bay, but Bcrippsx31 proved to be the difference-maker in net for the Mighty Deks. Bcrippsx31 turned aside 8 of 9 shots for a .889 save percentage, providing just enough stability for his team to capitalize on their 12-9 shot advantage when it mattered most.
