SERIES RECAP

High Glass takes the series 2-1 over That Was Ugly in a dramatic back-and-forth battle that showcased both teams' resilience. After High Glass took game one 6-5 in overtime and dominated game two 9-2, That Was Ugly fought back with a gritty 2-1 victory in the decisive third game. The series featured wild momentum swings, with offensive explosions early giving way to a defensive struggle in the finale. l_Willis_97_l was the offensive star of the series for High Glass, finishing with 8 goals and 5 assists, including a spectacular 6-goal performance in game two. JHubbs92 was equally impressive as a playmaker, racking up 11 assists while generating consistent offensive pressure. For That Was Ugly, Jeeves2009 led the way with 8 goals across the three games, including both tallies in their game three victory. Both goaltenders had their moments - Il Eroc lI posted an .800 save percentage in the clinching game two win, while PrawnsAndKings made several key stops in That Was Ugly's game three triumph. The contrasting styles ultimately favored High Glass, who outshot That Was Ugly 57-40 across the series while maintaining better puck possession. Special teams proved crucial, with High Glass converting 3 power play goals to That Was Ugly's 2. While That Was Ugly showed they could match High Glass's offensive firepower in game one and shut them down in game three, they couldn't overcome High Glass's dominant middle game that ultimately swung the series. The victory was sealed through High Glass's superior depth scoring, with five different players recording multiple goals across the three games.
