SERIES RECAP

Supremacy takes the series 2-1 over the Mighty Deks in a matchup that saw a total shift in momentum after the opening game. The Deks actually drew first blood in a thrilling 4-3 overtime victory, where Chandler4911 played the hero to put his squad up early. However, Supremacy refused to blink, responding with a dominant 5-1 win in Game 2 and a clinical 5-3 performance in the clincher to secure the series comeback. yRykerr was the undisputed MVP of the series, putting up a massive 13 points (8 goals, 5 assists) across the 3 games, including a 4-goal explosion in the series-deciding finale. He was well-supported by mistertwox2, who served as the primary playmaker with 8 points, and Jalbert L93L, who chipped in 7 points while winning 35 faceoffs. On the Deks' side, Chandler4911 was the clear standout, finishing with 8 points and contributing to nearly every goal his team scored throughout the series. The series was ultimately decided by Supremacy’s ability to monopolize the puck as the matchup progressed. While Game 1 was a statistical dead heat, Supremacy’s cycle game took over in the final two frames, culminating in a Game 3 where they held a staggering 724 to 331 advantage in time on attack. This possession dominance allowed Supremacy to fire 15 shots in the final game while limiting the Deks to just 7, effectively neutralizing the Deks' transition game and forcing them to play defense for the majority of the series.
